To help do this, in 2006 the Kokoda Challenge Association established a 'High School' specific competition within the Kokoda Challenge - both are named after Kokoda heroes, Stan Bisset MC and Jim Stillman.
The inaugural year for the Stan Bisset Cup was very successful and in 2007 the invitation was extended to High Schools all over Queensland to compete. In 2009 the Jim Stillman Cup was introduced.
Both of these competitions are an opportunity for the students at schools to take part in a hands on learning experience that will test their physical limits and challenge their mental toughness.
All funds raised contribute to the Kokoda Challenge Youth Program (KCYP) - a program helping young Australians at the crossroads who require an opportunity to reach their full potential.
If you are unable to register on-line please email info@kokodachallenge.com to request an entry form for your team(s).

"I challenge all of you to take on this amazing adventure.
The reward at the end is most definitely worth the pain experienced out on the course. The relationship you will develop with parents, other competitors and most importantly your students in something that will remain with you for the rest of your life."
Chris Kaddatz - Helensvale High School Team Supervisor
