Kokoda Youth Programs

Changing the lives of young Australians

Changing Lives

The Kokoda Youth Foundation is an Australian charity that runs a variety of youth programs. These programs encourage youth in our local communities to undergo life changing experiences, allowing them to reach their full potential as young adults.

Programs are focused on getting young Australians to engage with the Kokoda values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship and Sacrifice.

Kokoda Challenge Youth
Program (KCYP)

The Kokoda Challenge Youth Program takes kids from all walks of life and helps them thrive as young adults. The 9-month program provides life skills to 15-17-year old’s who are otherwise known as our “Kokoda Kids”. The Kokoda Kids come from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Tweed and Logan.

Kokoda Pathways
Program (KPP)

Kokoda Pathways Program (KPP) equips senior students with the confidence and mindset to tackle life post-school. The program provides young adults with developing skills for the workforce and potential job opportunities.

On The Right
Track (OTRT)

The On The Right Track program is run through a selected high school, targeting disengaged youth in grades 9 and 10. The 6-month program provides teens with a safe space to explore their feelings whilst challenging them to push personal limits.

Digital Detox
Program (DDP)

The world's technology consumption has drastically increased in recent years. The Digital Detox Program is an early intervention program for 12-14 year old’s who are already showing signs of digital dependence. The kids will attend a fully funded 9-day camp at Kokoda Park. During their digital detox, the kids will be encouraged to evaluate their overall well-being and create healthy new habits and boundaries surrounding their use of personal devices.
