Camp Kokoda recently reflected on another action-packed term at Lake Maroon.
Administration Coordinator Bec Hudson said Term 1 saw some amazing students visiting their campsites.
"One of our favourite clients, the Glennie girls, toughed it out through sun and rain and had the most upbeat outlook throughout the whole experience," she said.
"These girls are future leaders and had our instructors jumping for joy to be on program with them."
The team finished the term with one of Camp Kokoda’s biggest school camps, St Edmunds.
"St Edmunds have a great group of boys that rise up to the challenge of the hikes and activities on offer," Bec said.
"Each group has a significant hike which tests their endurance and mateship, and it is wonderful to watch the Rugby boys encouraging their classmates to keep going to reach their next destination."
The term was wrapped up with the school holiday program, a highlight being the dairy farm visit where camp-goers got to milk cows!
"We are so fortunate to have an excellent relationship with all of our neighbours and to be able to access these types of experiences for our kids."
