AUSTRALIA'S TOUGHEST TEAM ENDURANCE EVENT Just Got Tougher
If you’re the type of thrill seeker who wants to challenge yourself even further than the 96km Gold Coast event, then the Kokoda Challenge Pinnacle is for you.
Your team will start off by taking on the Sunshine Coast 30km through Imbil State Forest on the 20th of April.
You’ll then be heading to Brisbane to tackle the 48km course on the 1st of June before you go head-to-head with the big 96km Gold Coast event on the 13th of July - that’s 3 events in 13 weeks!
If this is your first time taking on a challenge like this, The Kokoda Challenge Pinnacle is an excellent way for your team to train and work your way up to the big 96km.
By signing up to Pinnacle, you’ll receive a discount on your team entry fee, plus your fundraising requirement will be less than if you were to register for each event individually.

The minimum age to register for Kokoda Challenge Pinnacle is 15 years old (or turning 15 the year of the event).
30KM SUNSHINE COAST KOKODA CHALLENGE
20TH OF April 2024
12 HOURS TO COMPLETE 30KM THROUGH IMBIL STATE FOREST
- 2 checkpoints
- No support crew
- Starts at 9:00am from Kenilworth State Community College
- Finishes at Kenilworth State Community College.
48KM BRISBANE KOKODA CHALLENGE
1-2ND of June 2024
20 hours to complete 48kms through D’Aguilar National Park
- 7 checkpoints
- 2 support crew checkpoints
- Starts at 7:30am from Brookfield Recreation Reserve
- Finishes at Brookfield Recreation Reserve
96KM GOLD COAST KOKODA CHALLENGE
13-14th of July 2024
39 hours to complete 96kms (in honour of the 39th Battalion)
- 13 checkpoints
- 4 support crew checkpoints
- Starts at 7:00am from Mudgeeraba Bowls Club
- Finishes at Nerang Velodrome
SCHOOL TEAMS
You must have the same team of five for all three events.
The minimum age to register for Kokoda Challenge Pinnacle is 15 years old (or turning 15 the year of the event).
