2019 - tackling the Kokoda Challenge...
Here we are. With 3 awesome Mates (Todd, Luke & Bernhard), we are on our way to tackle the 96km trail of the 2019 Kokoda Challenge Edition.
Traced through the tough Gold Coast hinterland, creeks and hills, the Endurance event is dedicated to the Spirit forget by the Men of the 39th Battalion who fought in Papua New Guinea, on the Kokoda Trail during World War II.
The Challenge must be completed in teams of 4 in the limit of 39hr proving values of mateship, endurance, courage and sacrifice.
An essential part of the Kokoda Challenge is it Charity vocation. By identifying young Australians at a crossroad of their life, the Kokoda Challenge Youth Program provide support to help them reach their potential & create a positive future.
Follow us during our journey to raise funds, train and finally walk the walk!
We would love and appreciate your support .
Training is going well and fundraiser too!
The training is still a work in progress but it become easier to get some km as the temperatures are starting to drop!
Our fundraiser is doing exeptionally good (thanks to Todd's efficacity and our numerous/generous supporters).
