Mates, Mum & 96km: Help Us Reach $1,500 for the Kokoda Youth Foundation
We’re All Downhill From Here, three mates and one legendary mum, stepping up to the 96km Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge. After conquering the 48km event, we’re taking on the full distance to test ourselves physically and mentally and to raise $1,500 for the Kokoda Youth Foundation.
Why we’re doing this
This challenge is more than a long walk. It’s about grit, teamwork, and backing each other when the hills bite and the night gets long. We believe that:
- Real growth lives outside the comfort zone. The leap from 48km to 96km is our commitment to keep pushing.
- Mateship makes the miles meaningful. Achieving something tough—together—builds stronger relationships and memories that last.
- The Kokoda spirit matters. Courage, endurance, mateship, and sacrifice guide how we prepare, how we show up for each other, and how we’ll cross the finish line.
About the Kokoda Youth Foundation
The Kokoda Youth Foundation is an Australian charity that empowers young people through programs inspired by the Kokoda values. Their initiatives help teens build resilience, leadership, self‑worth, and purpose, giving them practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Funds raised through Kokoda Challenge events directly support these life‑changing programs for local youth.
