Bound Together and Bound for Heaven
Our team is taking on Australia’s toughest team endurance event, the Kokoda Challenge, and we need your support!
We are a group of young Christian adults who wanted to challenge ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. As Kingdom Bound, we’re stepping out of our comfort zones to conquer this challenge together — trusting in God’s strength and perseverance to carry us through every step of the journey.
But we’re not just hiking for ourselves — we’re hiking for a cause. We’re raising funds for the Kokoda Youth Foundation, which runs life-changing programs for young people across Australia. Their programs help disengaged youth develop confidence, resilience, and character through outdoor experiences that grow the Kokoda values of Courage, Endurance, Mateship, and Sacrifice.
Our journey also reflects a truth we hold onto from Romans 5:3–4:
“We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
This challenge will test our endurance, but we believe that through perseverance and relying on God’s strength, we will grow both as individuals and as a team.
We would love the support of our church family, friends, relatives, and work colleagues as we take on this challenge together. Every donation, big or small, will help provide opportunities for young Australians to grow, learn, and realise their potential.
