We know it can be difficult to find teams to enter into The Kokoda Challenge, which is why we are excited to announce that we have introduced 2 person teams in all 30km Kokoda Challenge events

WHICH EVENT LOCATION DOES THIS APPLY TO?
ALL of them! Whether you're looking to tackle the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast or Lake Macquarie Kokoda Challenge, you can now register for the 30km event as a team of 2!
HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE FOR THE 30KM EVENT?
The minimum age to participate in the 30km event is turning 10 during the year of the event. All the same event terms and conditions apply to, including every team needing a guardian 18 years or over to participate.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
The event registration fee for all 30km 2 person teams is $190. The fundraising requirement is $300 per team, which allows us to continue running our life-changing youth programs.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TEAMMATE DROPS OUT?
If during The Kokoda Challenge, your teammate needs to withdraw from the event and you are a team of 2, you must join another team to continue on otherwise you will need to also withdraw. We do not allow solo event participants, you must be within a team for the entire duration of the event.

By participating in this competition, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

To be eligible for the draw to win a free team registration (valued at $190) for the 30km 2 person Sunshine Coast Kokoda Challenge, you must share the mentioned post on either your Facebook or Instagram account. Only one entry per individual is permitted, regardless of the number of times you share the aforementioned post.

Participants who are already registered for a Sunshine Coast Kokoda Challenge other than the 18km 2 person are not eligible for this competition. Refunds will not be issued for existing paid registration fees.

Participants who are an 18km 2 person team in the Sunshine Coast are eligible to receive a free upgrade to the 30km 2 person team in the Sunshine Coast.

Participants with an existing registration for the Brisbane, Gold Coast or Lake Macquarie Kokoda Challenge are eligible to win this competition, but their existing registration fee will not be refunded.

The winner will be announced on Friday the 17th of March, 2023 at midday.
- The winner of this social media competition will be issued with a promotional code that will gain them entry into the 30km Sunshine Coast 2 person event. This promotional code is valid only for the 30km Sunshine Coast 2 person event and cannot be used for any other event location or distance. The promotional code is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The promotional code is valid for one-time use only and cannot be combined with any other offer. The winner must comply with all applicable terms and conditions of the event. The promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotional code at any time without prior notice.
- The winner of the social media competition will be required to complete their full team registration, including the registration of team members, prior to April 6, 2023, to be eligible to participate in the 30km Sunshine Coast 2 person event. Failure to complete the full team registration by the specified date will result in the forfeiture of the registration.

The prize winner must comply with all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Coast event, including fundraising requirements. As a charity, this allows us to stay viable and continue running our free youth programs.
