Support our team at a local event to raise funds for local youth initiatives.

Our team from Sunshine Coast Council is taking on Australia's toughest team endurance event and our aim is to run the 30km Sunshine Coast Kokoda course to support the Kokoda Youth Foundation in their mission to transform the lives of young Australians. By embracing the values of the Spirit of Kokoda - Courage, Endurance, Mateship, and Sacrifice - we aim to honor the legacy of Kokoda Veterans on our journey.

The Kokoda Youth Foundation is an Australian charity that offers free youth programs to local kids, empowering disadvantaged and disengaged youth with the tools they need to reach their full potential.

By making a tax-deductible donation today, you can support our team in The Kokoda Challenge and provide life-changing opportunities for Australian youth.

Nambour Parklands - Team Practice #2

At Nambour Parklands for another team practice and taking advantage of the similar terrain to the Kokoda Sunshine Coast track.  
This time 4x the parkrun loop (20km).  Very hard going and everyone happy to finish.       

Nambour Parklands - Team Practice #1

Joined the Nambour Parkrun crew to tackle Australia's hardest Parkrun at steady pace.
Completed a total of 3 laps (15 km) and died.   

Kondalilla Falls - Team Practice

Team Practice hike at Kondalilla Falls.
Perfect weather, lots of water over the falls.
Plenty of leaches on the extended tracks. 
Good hit out for the team.

Practice hike/run for Tom and I, and we got smoked by Margarita and her Buderim Run Club.  
Tough first hit out, plenty of work to do, but thankfully plenty of time to get hiking fit.  :)
