How do I register?
Click here to register for the Kokoda Virtual Challenge. After you enter all of your details through this link, you will receive a confirmation email that will prompt you to log into your account and complete the set up and start the challenge!
I haven’t received my registration confirmation email, what do I do?
Please check your junk mail. If the registration confirmation email is not in your inbox or junk mail either then please click here and try to log in using your email address and password. If this does not work either, please send an email to media@kokodachallenge.com and we will help get you into your account!
How do I change the distance of my Kokoda Virtual Challenge?
When registering, if you entered 48kms and you actually want to complete the 96kms challenge or vice versa, then please follow these steps;
1) Log into your account by clicking here and entering your email address and password
2) Scroll down and click on “My Fitness Activity”
3) Under the heading “Set your target distance” there is a dropdown box where you can change the distance. Once you have entered the correct distance, please scroll down to the bottom of the page and press “Save changes”
How do I connect my Strava or Fitbit account?
When you log into your account, scroll down and click on “My fitness activity”. You will be redirected to a page where you will have the option to connect your Strava or Fitbit account. Please follow the prompts to connect.
The kilometres I have completed on my Strava or Fitbit is not showing up on my Kokoda Virtual Challenge page, what do I do?
Please ensure that you have authorised your fitness tracker to let Kokoda Challenge access your activity by following the steps above. The kilometres that you have completed will not show up on your account until the following day. If the kms you have completed are still not showing up then make sure you are logged into the app using the same account that you authorised your Strava account through your Kokoda page e.g. don't log in through Facebook from your app and then log in using a different email address when you authorise your account through your Kokoda page. If they are still not showing up after 24 hours then you can also manually log the kilometres or email us at media@kokodachallenge.com and we will help link your fitness tracker!

Do I have to fundraise?
No, there is no fundraising requirement whatsoever.
Do I have to pay a registration fee?
No, it is free to register for the Kokoda Virtual Challenge.
Do I have to complete the distance in one go?
No, you have until the 31st of May at 11:59 pm to complete your chosen distance.
Can I swim or cycle the Kokoda Virtual Challenge?
You can choose to either walk, run or hike the Kokoda Virtual Challenge. We have excluded swimming and cycling so it feels like you’re completing the real event but in your own time!
When does the Kokoda Virtual Challenge end?
You have until the 31st of May at 11:59 pm to complete your chosen distance.
I can’t remember my password, what do I do?
Click here to go to the log in page. Click on “forgotten your password?” and enter the email address that you used to log into your account. You will then receive an email prompting you to reset your password, make sure you check your junk mail if you don’t see this email in your inbox. If the email isn’t in your junk mail either then please email media@kokodachallenge.com and we will help get you back into your account!
Can I connect another fitness app tracker other than Strava or Fitbit?
Unfortunately not, we only have the ability to connect to Strava or Fitbit through this platform at this stage. If you do not have either of these fitness trackers then you can download them for free from the app store or manually enter the kilometres you have completed by following the steps below.
How do I manually enter the kilometres I have completed?
Log into your account, scroll down and click on “My fitness activity”. Scroll down and click on “Add activity” and enter the kilometres you have completed.
What is the icon that says 33% complete?
This is to advise that there are some more things you can do to customise your Kokoda Virtual Challenge page. You can upload a profile picture, customise your personal message, add a blog post or sponsor yourself. You do not need to complete these steps to use the platform, it is completely optional!
