About

Support ENDURE39 to empower us and other youth!

Our team are tackling Australia's toughest team endurance event, The Kokoda Challenge, to support the Kokoda Youth Foundation in their mission to change the lives of young Australians through instilling the values of the Spirit of Kokoda; Courage, Endurance, Mateship and Sacrifice. These are the values we will embody on our adventure, paying tribute to Kokoda Veterans.

The Kokoda Youth Foundation is an Australian charity that runs free youth programs for kids in the local community, empowering disadvantaged and disengaged youth with the tools to realise their full potential.

By making a tax-deductible donation today, you can support our team in The Kokoda Challenge and provide Australian youth with life-changing opportunities.

Mackenzie and the 96 Kilometers of Destiny Mackenzie wasn’t a hero. Not yet. He was just a guy with a dream. A dream... to walk. Not just around the block. Not to the corner store. But 96 kilometers of unforgiving, merciless, totally cracked terrain. The year? 2025. The location? Somewhere between "Middle of Nowhere" and "Why Are You Still Here." The terrain? Mud. Hills. Screaming wind. Probably wolves. The stakes? His pride. His Spotify playlist. His life (but like, metaphorically). DAY 1: BEGINNING OF LEGEND Mackenzie strapped on his crusty boots. They squeaked like a dying goose with every step. He looked into the distance, seeing only fog and regret. A lesser man would’ve turned back. But Mackenzie? He took a deep breath of raw adventure and said, "I ain’t no quitter. I’m Mackenzie, baby." He walked. One kilometer in, his calves screamed. By kilometer three, he was arguing with a squirrel. By kilometer six, he was shirtless in the rain, whispering the Rocky theme to himself. He was ascending. DAY 2: DARKNESS DESCENDS His snacks were gone. His phone was at 2%. He hallucinated a talking cactus named Trevor who gave him motivational quotes like: "Sweat is just your body crying success juice." “Pain is just spicy progress.” “Hydrate or Diedrate.” The terrain? Worse. Rocks sharp enough to cut diamonds. Mud so thick it pulled off his socks. At one point he sank waist-deep and emerged reborn, like a bog witch on a quest for self-discovery. DAY 3: THE ASCENT OF MAC At kilometer 73, something inside him snapped... But in a good way? He started running. Not because it was faster. Not because it was smart. But because the soundtrack in his head (which was just Darude – Sandstorm on loop) told him he could. He leapt over logs. He roared at bears. He started speaking exclusively in motivational hashtags: “#GrindNeverStops” “#FeetBleedButILead” “#MackenzieMindset” By kilometer 90, he was floating. Probably from dehydration. Maybe from destiny. FINAL KILOMETER: IMMORTALITY The ground leveled. A rainbow exploded behind him. Time slowed. The trees bowed. The squirrels applauded. He reached the final step and collapsed in a puddle of sweat, mud, and raw masculinity. An old man appeared from nowhere and whispered: “You have walked the Walk. You are now... a Mackenzie.” He nodded. He wept. He ordered a pizza with the last of his data. MORAL OF THE STORY: Sometimes, all you need to conquer the world is a pair of bad shoes, a stupid idea, and the unrelenting willpower of someone who’s a little too into motivational TikToks. So if you ever feel like giving up, just ask yourself: What would Mackenzie do? Then go walk 96km through hell with a protein bar and a dream. #MackenzieMindset 🔥 #CringeIsPower 💪 #WalkHarder 🥾
