In Marco’s Memory
April 20 this year would have been our cousin Marco’s 22nd birthday. The Kokoda Youth Foundation is an Australian charity that runs free youth programs for kids in the local community, empowering disadvantaged and disengaged youth with the tools to realise their full potential. Marco participated in the 96km Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge in 2018. In 2024, the Sunshine Coast event will be held on April 20.
Our team is taking on the 30km challenge in honour of his memory. As we also come from a military family, this challenge is important to us in so many ways.
